Tui Blue Bahari Zanzibar is an award winning hotel situated in the north east coast of Zanzibar, in Kiwengwa, amidst lush tropical gardens and the warm waters of the Indian ocean. We are seeking a top Executive Chef who is motivated, well experienced in the all-inclusive concept, team player who will be working hand to hand with the sous chef but also with the kitchen staff to grow their knowledge and skills. As Executive Chef

  • you will be fully responsible for developing the reputation of the hotel through the production of excellent quality food in the hotel and the development of a high quality kitchen brigade.
  • you will manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative functions.
  • you will create meals that meet and exceed customers’ needs conform to the brand standards and at the stipulated cost.
  • we expect you to develop and maintain positive customer relations through proactive interaction with Guests, Team Members and Suppliers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years in similar role in busy luxury all inclusive hotels
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic and Guests Centric
  • Self starter and motivator
  • Familiar with HACCP and health regulations
  • Trainer and motivator
  • Familiar with modern culinary trends
  • English required, other languages are a plus
  • African experience will be advantageous
