As a Front Office Manager or Front Office Assistant Manager you are responsible for all reception procedures. These include managing routine front office tasks such as checking in and out, controlling outgoing invoices with the reservation team as well as monitoring all cost and revenue items associated with a front office. For our guests you are a welcoming point of contact and a “problem solver” in one. Promptly responding to enquiries and problems from guests is a matter of course for you. You monitor guest requests and developments in upselling initiatives/strategies in the hotel and take part in consultations with other team leaders and the General Manager. You also ensure the cross-team flow of important information as well as seamless communications within your team. You draw-up duty rosters for the Front Office team and are responsible for the induction and training of new and existing employees.
