Receptionist (m/f/d)


TUI BLUE Fleesensee hotel is in a fantastic location right on the Fleesensee in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. With 156 modern rooms and suites await those wanting to relax in the spacious BLUE® Spa, actively explore the Mecklenburg Lake District by land or water, or play a scenic round of golf.

The hotel is looking for an experienced Receptionist who will be part of the team who ensures the front desk is highly effective in representing and promoting the first impression of the TUI Blue Fleesensee brand. This position is also open for EU Members and/or some already working in Europe.

Your role as a Receptionist will include:

  • You will be responsible in implementing and ensure excellent customer service and quality standards at the front desk
  • You will put our guests at the heart of the hotel and create smiles by delivering an unforgettable experience in every situation
  • You will handle the flow of guests in the hotel from welcoming, greeting, providing assistance to as well as ensuring an unforgettable farewell experience as a lasting impression upon their departure
  • Receiving telephone inquiries for reservations, existing bookings or other information
  • Managing the guests check in and check out of their rooms, distribute room keys, answers questions and process payments for hotel services rendered
  • Answer and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed by referring queries to the correct person or department
  • You will be managing guest’s complaints in an efficient, professional, courteous and timely manner
  • Provide general information about the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Processing guest’s correspondences and inquiries via email as required
  • At least 2-3 year’s experience working on a front house desk, reception or practical training in the hotel trade
  • A genuinely helpful, flexible and professional personality
  • Friendly and Smart appearance
  • A hands-on professional, with ability to work under pressure, resilient and reliable
  • A team player and with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task, doing several things all at the same time when required
  • Ability to be calm, courteous, and professional regardless of guest/visitors behaviour
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Customer focused, reliable and resilient
  • With positive attitude and warm charisma
  • Knowledge in Office365, Outlook an advantage
  • Required language skills German C1, other languages an advantage

  • Sunday and public holiday surcharges i. hv 20%
  • Working time 8 hours a day
  • Early shift 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
  • Late shift 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m
  • Uniforms are provided (blouses, shirts, trousers)
  • Free cleaning of work clothes
  • Work shoes (black or dark blue, comfortable) are to be provided
