For certain roles we will organise and host pre-season face to face training in order to enable you to gain necessary licences and certifications.

When you have accepted your placement offer, you will receive your login data from us for the TUI Online Campus. Here you will find each module of your training journey in the order they are to be completed. You will need to finish each module in turn to be able to move onto the next one.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are due to start later from April 2026 onwards, you may not get your invite until end of February, as we are prioritising those who are starting earlier. Please keep an eye on your mailbox and if you haven’t had your invite after middle of March, please let us know!

Your team may be located across geographies meaning travel would be required.
You will work as part of the wider team with resort management responsibilities including childcare staff resource planning and retention in addition to training, supporting staff qualifications, resort inductions, financial management and day to day HR management. You will do this by building and maintaining strong relationships with the resort team, concept delivery team, staff, partners, and guests.
You will also take accountability for ensuring that inventory, stock control and quality requirements are met and achieved. You will escalate any discrepancies when necessary.
Finally, you will be the childcare specialist and use your knowledge, decision making, planning and expertise to assist with all childcare queries and make innovative suggestions for future delivery based on staff and guest feedback.

After your successful recruitment interview you will get a proposal for your summer placement. Once you have accepted the placement we will send you an e-mail with the invitation to your first step in your training journey. Please be aware, Pre-Season Face to Face training dates will be confirmed in the later stage with an individual invitation mail.
Basically taking part in training is obligatory. If you cannot attend the training please state the reason for not attending in the registration form and send an email with a certificate from the doctor or school to: hotel.training@tui.com. Some of the job roles need to be licensed, and the qualification is a precondition to working in that role, therefore attendance at training is a requirement. If there is an unforeseeable circumstance and you cannot attend, please contact us so we can find a solution for you.

The virtual classroom training will be compensated to you with free time in the destinations or with days off, depending on the duration of your training (full or half day).
Pre-Season Face to face TUI BLUE & Concept DNA Training
If you are not contracted during the pre-season face to face training, you will get your participation paid with your June salary in the summer.
Unless your training is in May/June, in which case the payment will be with your July salary.

The Fitness Instructors get a unique opportunity to gain international recognized fitness licenses. As TUI covers all of the costs for these qualifications, there will be no remuneration for the duration of the training. (DNA Training will be paid).

Full Paediatric First Aid
If you are new to TUI, you will complete Paediatric First Aid Training during the Pre-Season Face to Face training. If you have completed this already in the previous 18 months, please bring a copy of your certificate with you.
You will be advised regarding first aid and what actions you need to take if any. Please do not book any first aid course unless advised to otherwise you will not get reimbursed for it
You will need your passport (UK) or ID card (non-UK) to travel to training in Cyprus. If you are applying for a visa or work permit and you have an appointment already scheduled or the embassy still has your passport/ID then let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You can inform us in the Registration for training or by email to hotel.training@tui.com.
We will then select one of the alternative dates for your Pre-Season Face to Face training.
There are 2 different Childcare Pre-Season Face to Face training dates. We will make the decision and allocate you onto the most appropriate one for your contract start date in destination.
Most of you will attend the main training date in April in Cyprus. If your contract starts earlier and we require you to attend the Cyprus training in March we will let you know.
You will receive your invitation to begin your e-learning on the TUI ONLINE CAMPUS in January. Please complete this fully within 1 week. If you are new to TUI you will then be invited to register for the Pre-Season Face to Face training. At this point you will see the dates you have been allocated. If you are not able to attend on the dates allocated please contact us as soon as possible. In the meantime keep checking this webpage for the most up to date information.
Yes, everyone employed by TUI is required to complete some E-Learning at the start of season. This has been tailored to your experience and will include updates and new information.
This qualification is an accredited childcare qualification. The qualification enables colleagues to work in our kids clubs as a qualified childcare team members and return to their home country with a childcare qualification and the knowledge and skills to work in a childcare setting.
If you are in a active TUI childcare role and do not currently hold a childcare qualification, this one is for you! We do need 100% commitment from all learners.

TUI are giving you this amazing opportunity to complete the qualification by covering all costs to support your growthand development within the company. After receiving your certificate, you will hold a childcare qualification and will havelearnt new skills and knowledge.
Colleagues will receive an immediate increase in salary once qualified and a further salary increase once you have
completed a full season and returned.
Throughout your Level 2 Qualification course, you will be assessed through a variety of methods to help you completethe course as quickly and easily as possible.
You will receive a link to the concept online campus. On the campus you can register to complete the childcarequalification. Along with your induction material you will receive 4 e-learning tasks to complete.
The e-learning content is there to help you with these questions. Your task questions will be in the Childcare.
Qualification Teams channel. Your Childcare Qualification Assessors will add you to this as part of the induction process
You will attend 6 Virtual Classroom, delivered by the Childcare Qualification Assessors. Each classroom has a task thatyou will need to complete by carrying out independent research. The childcare Qualification Assessors are always on hand to offer support and guidance throughout the course.
During your season you will have up to 3 Childcare Session Assessments conducted by your line manager or Team
Leader. These assessments are normal practice for everyone working in childcare and will be used towards your practicaltasks for the qualification.
This helps you assess your progress throughout your qualification. First, you’ll evaluate your current skills, identify
development areas, and reflect on your readiness for assessment. Later, you’ll look back on your journey, recognisingyour achievements and considering your next steps. This process helps you track growth and prepare for future opportunities.
The time you take to attend virtual classrooms and complete tasks is additional to your working hours. Your practical assessment’s will be completed during your working schedule.

Most of all, bring lots of energy & passion to the Virtual Classroom Training and read all the information on this website carefully. Plan the time for the virtual training as stated in the invitation.
When attending the Fitness Instructor training it is best if you start visiting group fitness classes at a nearby gym, and start jogging and exercising to work on your physical endurance on a regular basis, in order to get in shape for your sports training.

Most of our virtual classroom training will be held through Microsoft Teams or Zoom. If you have questions on how to register in both apps, please read the next question.
All quoted times for trainings are at CET – Central European Time (Spain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, etc). You will need to calculate the start time according to the country you are physically in. For example, if you are in the UK and your training starts at 14:00 CET, you will begin at 13:00 UK time.
UK, Ireland and Portugal are WET – Western European Time (CET -1).
Greece, Cyprus, Finland are EET – Eastern European Time (CET+1).
Turkey is CET+2.
In TUI, every colleague orders their uniform online. You will receive your login details (username and password) automatically from the supplier, after you have been offered your placement and accepted it. Should this not be the case, contact your local Operations Support team. You should place your order as soon as possible, but definitely before leaving for destination.
In TUI BLUE FAMILY FUN roles please make sure that it says TUI BLUE on your order form link – if not contact the person who emailed you and ask them to adjust it for you. To order your TUI BLUE FAMILY FUN childcare uniform the job role you will need to select is the Kids Club Supervisor/Team Leader role to order the correct uniform.
It is important, that you complete correctly the uniform sizing tool when you go to place your order, as this will ensure your uniform fits correctly. In most cases a belt will fix it. In resort we have some spare uniforms stored.
This depends. If you live in the country where the training will take place, you will be asked to organise your journey to the training venue yourself. You will collect all tickets and receipts and when you get to your destination you will claim the costs back. We are able to purchase advance train tickets in the UK and Germany for you.
If you have to fly to the training we will book your flights in and out. In case of traveling from training directly to the summer destination, we will let you know in advance and give you your onward travel information.
The travel from your home town to the airport has to be arranged by you, apart from trains in UK and Germany.
In Turkey, Spain or Cyprus the transfer from the airport to the hotel has been organised by us for you. Please find the TUI counter at the airport and the TUI colleagues there will be happy to assist you.
After completing the relevant e-learning and reading all the important details about your training on the TUI Online Campus, you will then be asked to register for Pre-Season Face to Face Training.
You will be asked to complete a registration self-survey with the deadline of 1 week. Please have your passport on hand to fill out the survey carefully. We will use this information to request your flights to the face to face training and book your accommodation. This will take a few days, then we will send your flight ticket via e-mail.
Please note – If you are working less than 2 months, you are not required to attend the face to face training as you will be trained in destination.
Some of you will either be working for TUI on a Winter season or have already started your Summer season. Before registering for Pre-Season Face to Face Training on the TUI ONLINE CAMPUS you need to inform your line manager about the training dates. This means that cover can be arranged if necessary to ensure there is no disruption to your guests.
Please ensure you are adequately covered by insurance for the duration and destination of this training – either check with your (national) insurance companies and / or purchase private travel insurance to your personal requirements – such as foreign health insurance or luggage cover. You should also be aware of the procedures you need to follow in case you need emergency assistance or for other claims.
There is currently no requirement for a visa to travel to Turkey for nationalities within the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway. If you are recruited locally from a different home country you might need a visa eg Egypt. In that case please contact your local HR department
Egypt passport holders can purchase a 30-day single-entry e-Visas via www.evisa.gov.tr, provided that you have a valid Schengen or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit and you travel to Turkey with Turkish Airlines or Egypt Air. Please contact hotel.training@tui.com, so we can support you with the necessary invitation documents in order to apply for a visa.
Most of the pre-season training will take place in Turkey which requires a passport for entry. Some training will take place in Spain or Cyprus depending on your start date. You will need a passport if you are attending in these countries and are not from an EU country.
If you are placed in Turkey for Summer 2026 (all nationalities except Turkish) after your training dates in Turkey will need to ensure your work visa is NOT in the passport before you attend training. You won’t be able to enter Turkey before the date on the visa if it is in their already. You will need to send their passport to the embassy AFTER training in Turkey. If your visa start date for Summer 2026 is before the Face to Face training in Turkey, you can travel to Turkey on the visa date and attend training.
If you are starting your placement in Turkey for Summer 2026 (all nationalities except Turkish) after training dates in Cyprus or Spain you can have the Turkish visa in your passport, but you need to ensure you have your passport back in time to travel to training. The Turkish work visa could take 3 weeks to process.
UK delegates placed in Greece for Summer 2026 after training in Turkey will need to ensure your work visa is completed early in advance of the training, so you have your passport for entering Turkey. The Greek embassy can take 10 days to process the visa and return passports.
Basically taking part in training is obligatory. If you cannot attend the training please state the reason for not attending in the registration form and send an email with a certificate from the doctor or school to: hotel.training@tui.com. Some of the job roles need to be licensed, and the qualification is a precondition to working in that role, therefore attendance at training is a requirement. If there is an unforeseeable circumstance and you cannot attend, please contact us so we can find a solution for you.

The course is fully residential, which means that we pay for your accommodation (a shared twin room), food and soft drinks. Food will be served as a buffet in the restaurants, so all dietary requirements are catered for. You will need to bring some extra money with you for any drinks or snacks and you can either pay with cash (€ in Cyprus and Spain and € or TL in Turkey) or via most credit and debit cards.
We will arrange for you to stay in hotel accommodation at the same venue as your training. You will share a twin hotel room with another new colleague, and all your meals and soft drinks will be provided.
This is the start of your new adventure with us and it is important that you come with an open mind to get to know your new colleagues, experience new cultures and be ready to contribute to, and learn from our training team and each other.
